The nursery was established in 1965 and has been in continuous production throughout. Producing salad crops of the highest quality to the wholesale and multiple outlets. The crops are grown in glass houses under strictly controlled conditions, thereby ensuring consistent and accurate quality standards being maintained throughout.
The use of biological agents to control pest and disease is widely employed. Together with the choice of variety with resistant strains bred into them thereby reducing the reliance of chemical intervention to control pest and disease.
Whilst not claiming to be organic we are certainly using minimal chemical intervention.
