Meeting on alternate Tuesday evenings when the society's room is transformed into a professional standard studio, the Portrait Group is essentially a practical photography group, with assistance given to those not used to using studio flash.
A small fee of £3 is charged to offset the cost of the evening
Images taken at organised group shoots are entered in an annual competition, with trophies awarded for best print and best projected image.
